Low-Key Cinco de Mayo

Img_4808 Img_4779 Img_4791Cinco de Mayo is a major holiday here in Houston, but we definitely took the low road this year.  Carrie has a cold and an earache. Really, though, we hadn't made plans anyway.  We did eat a scrumptious breakfast at the Midtown Farmers' Market at Monica Pope's t'afia. Then while Marcia was teaching her classes, Pearl, Carrie, and I played at the Children's Museum. For dinner, I did make something slightly thematic and tex-mex--black beans, avocado, sour cream, corn bread, and broccoli. Viva!
