This weekend we are headed north for Marcia's extended family reunion. I've never met many of these relatives. They have a huge family, and I'm a little anxious because many of these folks are considerably more faith-based than we are. But over the years Marcia has managed to navigate gracefully through the sea of "oy veys" that is my family, and I am sure I will manage in my own way.
As always, your guidance is welcome.

As a been there, done that-er, I suggest you find the nearest Berryhill you can run to when the conversation starts to turn a little too red state. I onced had to navigate my way out of a friendly chat that began with this sentence: I think you're a great guy, I just wish you'd date my daughter.
HOWEVER, there was only that one moment, and I definitely sniffed out my allies and stuck by them like glue. You'll find yours.
