I've mentioned regularly Carrie's enthusiasm for art. Painting is her favorite medium, thus far.
Last night (hindsight being 20/20) apparently I slacked off considerably in my supervisory role. She painted her ears, inside and out.
Need I tell you which color she chose?

Notorious B.E.N. took a can of green spray paint from my art supplies in my studio and went around the house spraying anything that had green on it (carpet, fireplace utensils, the furniture, etc.)to see how close the greens matched when he was 5. That's what I get for going in the basement to do the laundry and thinking he was napping.
This is my favourite trick with my students, I'm a high school art teacher, I wet a paint brush and stick it in a convenient ear as I walk by. Once when I was foolhardy enough to actually paint an ear, the vistim got her firends to hold me whilst she annointed both my ears!
p.s. They were what we call 'senior school' students, students in Year 12, the last year of high school and my favourites to teach.
