Marcia, Pearl, and Carrie set some summer goals for themselves. You might be wondering how Carrie at age 2.5 could come up with goals for herself. She didn't. Pearl wrote them for her. Carrie has already accomplished her #5, and Pearl, her #4.
Those are great. But now I have this idea in my head of you being a sort of David Sedaris type (from his review of the children's Christmas pageant) in reviewing the goals: "is this specific and measurable?" "how will you feel if you accomplish this?" "how will you know if you achieve this goal?"

This is so sweet! My favorite is the not pinching with scissors: key activity for the 5 and under crew. I love your blog by the way, I always follow your new posts, just don't comment very often.

Can Pearl write me a list for the summer too? I want to learn to do some of the same stuff she wants! #6, #9 and especially #12, but I think that has more to do with my own kiddos waking me up. It looks like you have a great summer in store.
PS Do you mind if I add you to my list of favorite sites? Thanks!

This is a great idea. I might have to put it to my 4 year old and see what she come up with.

on computer games: have the girls discovered poisson rouge? it is a fantastic preschool website that cosmo adores. he can navigate it all by himself, and it seems endless. some of them are quite poetic and beautiful (as far as computer games go) and they are in 3 languages. but be warned...they may have trouble stopping once they start. we have had some success using a timer to set limits.
