A scene from Pearl's school picnic.  She had a great time on the water slides.  Okay, I will revise that one. She was scared of them at first, but after one swoosh, she was completely unstoppable.  By the time we left the event, she was asking, "Where did everyone else go?"

Can you see the water droplets on my lens?  That Canon G6 camera may never be the same. 

A View from the Weekend

It's been one of our busiest weekends ever.  There's just a lot going on.  I lost track of the number of parties and events we attended.

Even so, there were the quieter moments (pictured here) to just be ourselves. As always, we've been having a ton of fun with Nana!

Toy Stories

One night after the kids went to bed I went around taking pictures of the configurations of toys that I saw all around.  I found this amusing.  Here are a few of the sights that I saw.

Some/thing Blue

I'm feeling nostalgic today.  I can't believe that our babies are no longer babies any more.  Here's a picture of Pearl at  4 weeks.  It was lucky I snapped a photo because, as it turns out, it was a historic moment. It was the only time she ever used a pacifier.  Any symbolism there?

Lucia Turns 3

 

Pearl and Carrie celebrated Lucia's third birthday at a party yesterday that blissed them out.  Despite the extravagance -- a pinata, a petting zoo, etc. -- it was totally unpretentious fun and frolic.  We all had a wonderful time.
