It gets to a point like this. You realize that you and your partner are sitting around discussing the beauty of your child's teeth again. Who knew that there could be enough material possible to actually have a conversation on the topic. Repeatedly.
Pearl has an ear infection this week. It's her second one. She has a cold to go with it. And two new teeth. She feels worse at night (horizontals are challenging) than in the daytime. I am thinking we will all feel better after a peaceful weekend.
Pearl just keeps getting more beautiful everyday!
Poor little thing. Ear infections are a drag.
I remember when my son (my first) was born he sneezed for the first time. I was delighted. I remember thing that God remembered to give him a sneeze!

I am delighted to hear that you are having the same sort of repeated and at-length conversations we're having over here: the wonderous beauty of particular parts of our children.
P.S. I'm a new reader and love the blog.

She is getting to look so much like Marcia...a real cutie-pie.
But hey--show us the teeth already! What kind of tease are you???

Have you tried the ol' pillow under her crib mattres trick? It's great for all kinds of congestion? In desperate times there's the mommy or the other mommy sleeping propped up in bed with Pearl sleeping on her chest. But for the most part I find the pillow or two under the crib mattress works like a charm.
