Today I filled in the blanks on one of those little gizmos on a parenting website that claims it can accurately predict how tall your child will be. I found out that Pearl will be 6' 3" by the time she's 18.
All I have to say on this subject is that if she makes the WNBA, I hope she'll remember her moms with a pair of season tickets.

Was the formula you used, take your child's height at age 2 and double it? That's the one I've always heard.
I would ask my mom, but since I recently discovered she believes my brother and I (now age 40+) *always* slept through the night, I'm not sure how accurate her memory is.

I think our kids are doomed, formula or no formula - I'm 5'5, he's 5'7 (though I'd love to find that site to find out).
Beautiful picture, too. I loved climbing trees as a kid.
