For the second time, Mombian is sponsoring "Blogging for LGBT Families" Day on June 1st which is tomorrow. Last year I didn't post my contribution until June 1st, and a number of blogger friends said they would have participated, had they known.
This year I'm feeling generous and am, therefore, giving you a whopping 12 hours notice. You don't have to be L, G, B, or T to play. The instructions are outlined on the Mombian website. Once you post your thoughts, email Dana so that your link will be included with all the other ones. I'll submit something tomorrow morning.
Thanks, Robin! I'll also add that for those who blog about LGBT families every day, you can either write something special or simply send me a link to whatever you would have otherwise posted about your family (photos, anecdotes, etc.) I.e., don't worry if you don't have time to write a special post--contribute something anyway to be part of the event. I'm guessing we'll all see a bit more traffic tomorrow as people read through all the posts. (Older posts are fine, too--though you might want to post a short new one that mentions Blogging for LGBT Families Day and links back to the old post.) I also welcome posts from those who don't normally blog about LGBT issues and/or parenting.

12 hours huh?
Given my limited time even reading blogs, much less posting, 12 hours just wasn't enough. Three weeks might have been sufficient! :)
Right now I have three assignment due in for uni in 7 days (all are at least most of the way through a first draft but in need of significantly more work), a teething baby and (I think) am getting a cold. All of which has absolutely nothing to do with LGBT family day, but this is the only place I've posted today, so where else to whinge? And besides, it's my excuse...
