Do you encourage or discourage computer use for your toddlers?
I'm such a geek that I try to find websites that the kids will enjoy. Here are a few recent discoveries.
Something for Carrie = Check out PLAY by Dust Films
Something for Pearl = Make a visit to Bembo's Zoo
- based on the book by the same name
Rainy day activity = Try printing and building one of these ReadyMech toys. They're the paper dolls of the digital age. I doubt I have the skill set for the assembly, but you probably do.
We are all about www.Noggin.com

I'm so torn about this because we are a non-tv-watching household.
But I guess for use, the internet is like our tv.
I never go on the computer with Tae at home, but at work, when she's running out of things to do, I type, paint, and IM with her.
She goes on the sesame st. website with her babysitter in my office.
I'm a little wary of any of these websites, because they're really just big ole ads, in my mind.
But, I guess we're going to absorb some of that somewhere.

Lila likes the Boohbah (http://www.boohbah.com/zone.html) and Kneebouncers (http://www.kneebouncers.com/kneebouncers.html). Boohbah she can use the mouse on a few of the games, and Kneebouncers she types on the keypad.
