I'm not at all sure what I meant in the previous post when I promised that I'd soon be "blogging in earnest." It sounds like something a blogger could do, but what?
The New York conference and trip went well. I came home with slinkies (TM) for the girls. They are over their flu and back at preschool today. Marcia is excited about turning 40 next week. Life is good.
However...
I've been experiencing the winter blogging blahs lately and want to DO SOMETHING. I've noticed so many great new blogs linking to mine, and maybe it's because I've been out of town, but I'm even behind in reading my old favorites. (In blog years, 3 is considered old.) I thought it might be fun to throw a blog party or carnival that would bring us all together, perhaps under the colorful umbrella of a topic or question. I'll keep thinking. Let me know if you think you might like to play.
How about a lesbian mothers blog carnival? A one-off or an annual.

I would love to play.
Well, unless it's a lesbian mothers blog carnival, because then, well, unless my cat counts, I don't qualify!

Sounds fun! Whatever that is!
I've got blog blues too. And, it's been cloudy everyday and raining.

I've had a bit of the blogging blues myself. As for the carnival, I know how to make balloon animals.

February has hit blogging hard around here and I'd love to play along. I'm not so good with the balloon animals, but I'm good at making costumes out of nothing.

It is always a joy to meet on line friends! Do it!
I have in the past and it is always the best time. I even met my spouse that way 9 years ago.
10 members of my lesbian mailing list community gathered here at my home several times. Jan came one year and the rest is bliss.
Haven't been by here in forever, but always an enjoyable read.
