Bento Boxes

Marcia bought laptop lunch kits for the girls.  They're adorable, and I like the bento concept, although I must confess I had a total Ricky Ricardo moment when I found out how much they cost. Ay yai yai!

oh yes, i've been lusting after these for a while... so cute!! (and so expensive!)

but think of all the good you will do by not using tons of plastic baggies every day. =)

I've been looking at those for awhile but I worry about spending that much and my kids losing the pieces in the first week. Right now, we use cheap reusable containers and then I don't freak when they come home lidless. Those bento sets are beautiful though!

very cute... tho my little tupperwares work just as well.
I bought several of the little cup sized ones (since i eat 5 small meals a day) in different shapes - so i can mix and match according to what I am bringing in for the day.
(for example soup must always be carried in a round container. while salad can be put into the rectangles - yeah... i am that odd)

i am impressed with the food your children appear to eat. everything looks savory and nutritious. around here, you have to add raisins to everything, just to get cosmo to consider it.
