hillary clinton, for def, as phyllis' new lover

I would have to go with Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin of WI (http://tammybaldwin.house.gov/) or Queen Latifah.

Haha, my first inclination was to say Hillary Clinton! But since someone has already covered that, hmm...
I'm gonna have to go with Annie Sprinkle. I know she's not technically a HUGE celebrity in mainstream media/culture, but she's totally awesome and I think she'd make a fun cameo on the show.

Thanks for the giveaway! Holly Hunter please.

I wouldn't have a clue as I have never seen the show. It is an HBO show, right? I guess I could get it at Blockbuster to watch but I usually end up keeping my movies too long and paying extra in late fees so I try to stay away from that place!
Hey...maybe that makes me the perfect recipient...someone who has never seen the show should see it, right? :-)
Happy Monday! It is Panama's Independence day!

My vote is for Regis Philbin. He is always a great guest star, no matter what the show is!

I would love to see Suzanne Westenhoefer. She is hysterical on stage - plus has admitted she would love to be on the show!

Angelina Jolie. :D
Me mem mememememememmememeee! :D

Barack Obama! the show could have everybody go to his inaugeration and then he makes a speech about equal marriage rights.
Posted by: Z | 03 November 2008 at 09:04 AM
It's hard to pick one but I'll go with Allison Janney (channeling a little CJ Craig, perhaps).
Posted by: Vikki | 03 November 2008 at 09:09 AM
Rachel Maddow, no question about it. I'd have Alice interview her...and then take her out for a drink at the planet!
Posted by: Amanda | 03 November 2008 at 09:18 AM
rachel weisz!
Posted by: Bettina | 03 November 2008 at 09:22 AM
I think I would have to go with Tina Fey as Sarah Palin! That would be hilarious.
Posted by: Michael Carnell | 03 November 2008 at 09:28 AM
I'm torn between agreeing with Amanda or Tina, either Rachel Maddow or Angelina Jolie, their personalities would make for two very different storylines, both would be awesome...

I'm another who's never seen the show (no cable, too many babies) but I would like to see Arnold Schwarzenegger on there, perhaps as a curmudgeonly gym owner who overcomes his homophobia after getting to know one of the characters on the show who works out at his gym. As a special favor, he could let her drive his gold hummer when she went out on a date with her lover!

Jodie Foster
Posted by: Rachel Z. | 03 November 2008 at 10:14 AM
Susan Sarandon--I think it'd be nice to see some more women in their fifties on the show. She's a great actress and I haven't seen her in much lately. :)
Posted by: Heather T | 03 November 2008 at 10:51 AM
Bette Midler!
Posted by: Yvonne | 03 November 2008 at 11:29 AM
So many good ones taken. Hmmmm let's see...Ellen Degeneres
Wanda Sykes
Sara Ramirez
Sigourney Weaver
Nia Long
~~for starters

Stevie Nicks...without a doubt! The rock temptress of the 80's that sings love songs to and about other women, of course!
Posted by: Farrin | 03 November 2008 at 11:36 AM
Jodie Foster!!! Oh, YES!
Posted by: Paula | 03 November 2008 at 11:44 AM
Rachel Maddow gets my vote too.
Posted by: Joy | 03 November 2008 at 11:58 AM
I think a little Melissa Etheridge may be a nice guest spot. :)
Posted by: Suzanne | 03 November 2008 at 12:06 PM
How 'bout a sassy Margaret Cho?
Posted by: Ell | 03 November 2008 at 12:14 PM
Gillian Anderson :)
Posted by: Prerna | 03 November 2008 at 12:28 PM
Sarah Palin! It would be so fun to watch Shane make her go all weak and stuttery! Plus I think she would actually do it for the "good sport" points.
Posted by: sharon | 03 November 2008 at 12:29 PM
Wanda Sykes would be my first choice because I love her. In storyline interests, Jackie Warner would be a great villian for Shane.
Posted by: Aleaka | 03 November 2008 at 12:34 PM
the good asian drivers!!
Posted by: eliaday | 03 November 2008 at 12:35 PM
Others have said it, but I'd have to agree: Tina Fey. She's my favorite celeb of the moment.
