I recently had an empanada from the farmer's market for the first time. I recently started participating in a group for prospective queer parents.

Whitewater rafting this summer - new for all 4 of us, and our new favorite thing. We're already starting to think about a longer trip (Moab?) next summer.

I'm running a political campaign lobbying for legal recognition for non-bio same sex parents. I've participated in lots of campaigns before but I think this is the first one I've led. Exciting and frustrating in turns, but it feels so powerful to actually be outspoken and determining the direction of this debate in our state.

Solo road trip through California, Arizona and New Mexico. I've never driven by myself for more than 3 hours. It's really liberating. How about you?
